Dr. Craig Nachbauer is certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and has practiced thoracic and vascular surgery since 1991. He is experienced in medical record review, determinations of standard of care, and deposition and testimony in medical malpractice cases. Dr. Nachbauer received his thoracic surgery residency at the Ohio State University Hospitals. After a fellowship in pediatric cardiothoracic surgery at Emory University, he completed his training as Clinical Associate in Cardiothoracic Surgery at The Cleveland Clinic. Currently, Dr. Nachbauer is in private practice, specializing in thoracic and vascular surgery. He is the medical director of the Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Wound Center. He is medical director of the University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital Wound Center.
