I am board certified in emergency medicine and have practiced full time emergency medicine since 1992. As Vice President of an emergency department staffing company I oversee 700 providers that work at 35 different EDS including both large academic centers, and small rural ERs.

I teach emergency medicine at a tertiary county hospital trauma center and I'm an Associate Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at UC San Francisco.

I served as the President of California Chapter of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and am currently the state wide medical director of the California Highway Patrol.
