Prior to founding my expert witness practice, I was fortunate to be in the commercial world that gave me the opportunity to solve problems, consult and work with varied industries, business transactions, software development life cycle, processes, procedures, products, aerospace and defense contracts.  My consulting and expert witness practices experiences are intertwined.

Information Technology is common in many business transactions.  Where there is a computer, there is a probability that a dispute will occur between provider and client that may result in litigation.  Here is a more detailed profile introduction.  My expertise includes intellectual property, commercial litigation, IT driven business methods, cognitive reasoning solutions methodology, monitor and control of events and processes, SCADA, and real time applications. I also developed HIPPA Policies, Procedures, and Forms.

 I am a unique forensics expert witness and management consultant solving problems and am a very curious and imaginative individual. In short, I have years of experience in developing and reengineering business processes and methods and in the application of IT to business.  The knowledge and techniques gained enable me to dissect a complex case into parts when analyzing the complaint.  These same capabilities are used to develop commercial litigation reports and in patents for element comparison and understanding the specifications and descriptions of the patents.  The usual intent of my patent cases is to be used in a business method and in the SCADA environment.

I have practiced as a forensic expert witness for the past 15+ years in patent infringement and invalidity, business processes and methods, complex technology, complex software development (SDLC), computers, technology, FBI Email Fraud Compromise, physical event monitor and control, SCADA, supply chain management, logistics, retail and distribution, contract deliverables and breach, software licenses, workflow, e-discovery, telecommunications, commercial transactions, software development life cycle,  and other disciplines among my 33+ cases.  I have developed product appraisal and financial reports for businesses and similar IPO reports for the SEC and Vancouver Stock Exchange Superintendent.  And I have been an executive in entrepreneurial start-ups including a leading edge document management professional services business. I also own and operate an oil lease to keep my head in the commercial world.

My years of cross industry experience as an executive, a project manager, a consultant, a systems developer, a business process engineer, and a software/hardware developer has allowed me to gain knowledge that would have been unavailable to me had my career been restricted to a computer specialist only.  This wide range of knowledge is essential in case solutions.  I dissect technology for an understanding by the lay people.

I have facilitated and participated in greater than 300 seminars and presentations and industry courses and have authored and reviewed in excess of 50 business plans.  I was an adjunct faculty member for 10 years at the University of Texas at Arlington teaching the capstone Policy and Strategy course and other management courses.
